Persistence paid off, and I was able to find a decent variety this morning
Blue-winged Warbler(1 seen, 2 others heard all along the road leading to
King Blind)
Black-throated Green Warbler(1 near the Tamarack bog)
Tennessee Warbler(1 near Tamarack bog)
Nashville Warbler(1 southwest of Crosby Lake
Greetings Birders,
I will be in the Denver and the Rocky Mountain National Park area near
the end of June and was wondering if anyone could recommend good
birding guide books? I see I have choices of about 10 or more and,
based on the descriptions given for them, I'm not sure which would be
best.
140th this morning was semi-productive in the gusty winds. I stopped by
first at around 10am and came back through around 11am.
Combined between the two visits:
Least Sandpiper -25
Semipalmated Plover - 4
Wilson's Phalarope - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 4
Lesser Yellowlegs - 2
Pectoral Sandpiper -1

Saturday, I found a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak on my feeder in Plymouth and
