Northern Mockingbird that was found this morning (10am) along Conley
Ave (between Hwy 42 and 140th street) - was refound a half hour later
and again around 7pm.

Outside my office window - just now! A MAGNOLIA WARBLER and a
NASHVILLE WARBLER!! Oh my God!!! Excuse the exuberance! This
morning I also had an entire flock of CEDAR WAXWINGS eating the
flowers off my crab apple tree - full breeding colors!
Then I had another WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW
More praise of water features from just north of Fridley America. In
one - one stationary view of my water feature today I had 5 different
species all vying for the coveted low multiple bathing spot at the
top of my upper pond - two first of yard this year and they were all
interacting
to the confluence of
the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. For more info, go to

Around 10am this morning walking counter-clockwise around the path at Bass
Ponds that goes from about marker #7 (by a beaver lodge) to below the farm
there, I, and three other folks, were led by an unfamiliar song that sounded
like CHICK-aREAR followed by a short, throaty trill. The bird had a
, but I'm told is not a candidate for being a
countable bird in Minnesota.
