This weekend, Nov 3-4, the Minn Birding Weekends group observed several
species of interest between Duluth and Grand Marais, In addition to the
Inca Dove in Two Harbors, the highlights were:
- only 2 scoter individuals: 1 Surf Scoter in Grand Marais harbor and 1
Black Scoter in Hovland
- Long-t

The Inca Dove was spotted again today in our backyard, at 320 2nd
Avenue, by several groups of birders at around 9:00 a.m. and also
around 11:00 a.m. It was also seen in our neighbor's yard (the other
green house) and then was flushed and flew into the cedars at the end
of the block (304 2nd A
Just took a break from my emptying boxes - the seemingly eternal bane
of moving - and notice some movement in a tree a hundred feet away
from my living room window up here in sunny Maple Grove, Minnesota
just southeast of the I94-I694-I494 interchange. I watched as an

welcome two day get away) - there was a Red-throated Loon on Mille Lacs Lake
Friday noon at the Garrison "Big Fish" pulloff on 169.
