Drove Sherburne Refuge's Auto Tour this morning. Three species (seen heard). Three. Bald Eagles, Bluejays, Tree Sparrows. Ten total birds. Sigh. Such is the nature of nature, of change, of high winds and low temperatures, of winter. Sometimes adaptation is gradual, sometimes dramatic.
