This evening's bike ride yielded some nice finds: Franklin's gulls: I swung by Lake Nokomis main beach (a local gull hang-out). 8 Franklin's with the usual ring-billeds. Nothing like the 600 reported over Best Buy and Wood Lake today, but very accessible and they were stationary. I'd expect

At 8:30 this morning I saw what I take to be a Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow, a bird I've not seen before, near the look-out dock at Old Cedar Bridge.
