Unfortunately, that possible Pacific Golden-Plover sighting in Duluth
at the 40th Ave West Erie Pier area still remains just a possibility.

The golden-plover is still present at the 40th Ave West Erie Pier area
in Duluth and it still may well prove to be a Pacific Golden-Plover.
Peder Svingen (one of the birders I called earlier about my sighting)
just called to report that he and others just saw what appeared to be
a juvenile

Late this morning at the 40th Avenue West Erie Pier area in Duluth, a
calling golden-plover flew past me and especially attracted my
attention because its call did not match an American Golden-Plover.
Unfortunately, it continued to fly SW and out of sight, and I could
