We spent the morning hiking Wind-in-the-Pines Nature Area and the adjacent Falls Creek SNA ( on the St. Croix River, north of Copas, off highway 95, Washington Co.). There was ample song from the Acadian flycatchers along the main creek in the SNA. Also present there, was the Louisiana waterthrush.

There were "2" Snowy Egrets present at the Purgatory Creek Wetlands in Eden Prairie, Hennepin County from 1:40pm - 2:00pm while I was there. They were foraging together around the perimeter of the bare mudflat amongst the many Great Egrets and Great Blue Herons. Conny Brunell Richfield, Hennep

At 1:25 the Cattle Egret was at the observation deck west of the parking lot at the Old Cedar Avenue Bridge. It was on the very right side of the pool walking in the grass. It would occasionally disappear, but come back out to the water's edge. There were 25 Great Egrets in the area also. A
