I was surprised to find not one but two OSFL foraging only ~25 meters apart.
They were about 200 m WNW of the parking lot. The MOU-site shows an early south
date of Aug. 3. This is fully 2 weeks earlier than my previous early record.

Came across 2 cranes, Eagle Creek Blvd, while on the road to Wal-mart from
Lowe's in Shakopee!. GPS coordinates in the driveway, my garmin reported: N44
46.231 W93 26.777 with the closest address of: 5901; there is a blue hwy
marker with the number: 5765. There is a white house at this

YCNH spent entire day eating crayfish, preeening,sleeping and putting on a
great show for all the birders and passerbys in the cattails. it was great
to meet everyone who was here good birding. vic lewis and harold the ycnh.

The previously reported Scissor-tailed Flycatcher was present this evening
between 5:00 and 6:45. It was sighted both on CR 1 and 555th St.
but always within 1/4 mile of the intersection. At one point it landed on the
utility wire right next to an Eastern Kingbird making for a nice size
I spent a few hours at the Yellow-crowned Night-Heron spot and was able to
capture the Crayfish eating behavior previously mentioned by Victor. This bird
ate about 20 crayfish in the time I was there.
