15 warblers in southern Mille Lacs and northern Sherburne Counties this
week - but never more than 9 species a day, never more than 12 in a flock -
covers eight morning and lunch walks.
Nate had five Red Crossbills in Princeton yesterday (used his I-Phone for
audio part of ID, nice feature!).
Rapids Lake MVNWR still only had scattered migrants. There were fewer
Tennessee Warbler around, so that really cut down on warbler numbers.
There were still a few vocal Warbling Vireo along with a singing
Yellow-throated and a couple quiet Red-eyed, but I have yet to find any
Philadelphia or
There have been over 300 views of the warbler photos I posted on Flickr. A
small per centage has expressed an opinion on what the bird is. So far it
breaks down like this:
