19 warblers in Hennepin & Kathio State Parks - nice to see multiple waves
throughout the morning (7:30 to 12:00).
Of course, do you think I could find the 20th (like Yellow, or
Orange-crowned, or Canada, or Red-faced...?)

All my complaining about not seeing any different Vireos finally paid
off as today there were 3(possibly 4) Blue-headed Vireo at Carver Park.
Warblers this morning were 6 Nashville, 4 Ovenbird, 3 Tennessee, 3
American Redstart, 3 Black and White, 2 Magnolia, 2 Blackburnian, 2
Wilson's, 1 Black-thro
I just saw a huge flock of white Pelicans circling this morning in
Jordan, Mn. Near
Sand Creek-169 and 282.
They look so cool when the sun hits them.

Subject: Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Miesville Ravine, Goodhue Cty side
Today at Miesville Ravine, along the Cannon River trail, I had excellent
views of a Yello
I saw the female Harlequin Duck today in Grand Marais. She was first seen
in the west bay, near the Lake Superior Trading Post. She then flew to the
east bay and was foraging along the shore with a group of Common Mergansers.
There have also been two Red-necked Grebes in the west bay. I saw
Today around 12:00 I found a male Hooded Warbler at Lebanon Hills Regional Park
in Dakota County. It was singing incessantly for the 10-15 minutes I was near
it. I know others had seen one there this spring (and last year as well) so
I'm assuming this is probably the same guy on territory.
Here are a few notable weekend birds from Grant/Douglas/Otter Tail
counties:
4 Red-necked Phalaropes were seen at Ashby Sewage Ponds (scope
required); the ponds are closed, but you can gaze longingly over the
