Carlos Avery WMA gates are open and trails are dry and compact. Beautiful day today and Sandhill Cranes are here. Spotted about eight while near Sedge Meadow (marker 10). While there - for the record: Sandhill Crane (8) Northern Flicker (3) Golden-crowned Kinglet (1) Black and White
