I've been lax about reporting, but two broad-wings flew over the
railroad bridge just north of Crosby, on the weekend. they came from
the direction of the Lilydale Yacht Club, and barely cleared the trees

occasionally leaves me with the dilemma of whether to exit the freeway and turn

I am looking for several volunteers to help identify birds on Saturday, May 8th
for the International Audubon's Bird Watch Open on our golf course. Typically
we try to identify birds starting around 7a.m. Coffee and pastries will be
provided for all volunteers. For more information
This morning, Butch Ukura and I when out birding for a little while. On
CR18, we had three SHORT-EARED OWLS right at the junction with CR5, one
sitting in the middle of the road, the other two flying in the fields
near by. This was just before 9:00 a.m., so it was a bit of a surprise.
Also had
A Virginia rail was calling along the Blazing Star Trail in Albert Lea
this afternoon. A cool sound on a splendid day.
