[mou-net] Goodman Larson

For anyone who knew Goodman "Goodie" Larson, sad news of his passing on Monday, 11/1. Goodman was a longtime MOU member, conservation farmer and lifelong birder. He along with Dr. Walter Breckenridge established the annual Salt Lake Bird Count in Lac Qui Parle County in western Minnesota.

[mou-net] Red-bellied Woodpecker in Kittson County

While watching a flock of Common Redpolls in Karlstad in Kittson County in the early afternoon of Thursday the 4th I heard a Red-bellied Woodpecker call several times. I was able to track it down for a visual confirmation. It was at the intersection of Hwy11 and 1st St just west of US59. The redp
