Ron Erpelding found a Summer Tanager in Greenbush this afternoon.
Directions: turn left off MN11 at CR 4 then take an immediate right. The
bird was at the first house on the left( across from a new building), in a
crabapple tree.

At 5:25 this evening, I heard two flocks of Tundra Swans flying over the
Macalester-Groveland neighborhood of St. Paul (flying southeast). Couldn't see
them. When my wife first heard this sound many years ago, she thought our
neighbor was squeegeeing her windows.
