As the representative for MOU to the Minnesota Environmental
Partnership I am requested at times to use our web site to inform members of
special events. The following is such an event. This event needs to be big.

Today the birds were active and plentiful along Sucker Lake Rd. betwe
Today the birds were active and plentiful along Sucker Lake Rd. between
the Vadnais Lakes. In a one block stretch from Fisherman's Point
westerly to where the road turns north I found 55 species from 7:30 to
9:30 a.m.! Warbler
Acting on a suggestion from Dennis Martin, we were able te correctly
identify the raptor at St John's Lutheran in Mapleton as a Cooper's
Hawk.
Much better lighting and photos made proper id possible.
The hawk was at the Lutheran church again, with the Collered Dove next
door at St Theresa's.
