Upsetting to hear this again. Does anyone have any idea why they are being
driven this far south and in such poor condition?

The summer tanager was spotted by bird bander Tom Bell this morning at
Carpenter Nature Center. He was sitting in a pine tree trying to get some sun.
I don't think he was staying warm though.
