We have a Barred Owl nesting in an old wood duck house on our resort. She's
somewhat skittish, but we see her daily and hear her nightly. I presume she is
the same owl who nested with us last year. She produced two chicks last year,
so we're hoping for the same success this year.

The Black-necked Stilt at Lily Lake in Blue Earth County has not been
relocated later this morning despite several observers' efforts over the
past couple hours.

Thanks to a quick response from Larry S. we were able to observe our FOY
Woodcocks at Afton State Park last night. Also, Brown Thrasher, Eastern
Meadowlark and Orange-crowned Warbler. Perfect evening.

Hey birders,
I'm not on the web much over the weekend, but I thought I'd give a few details
of the bird at Lily Lake. The bird was found by Andrew Krenz on Friday night
around 6:15pm and foraged primarily on the south and southwest sides of the
