Nope.
Did leave with Pine Grosbeaks & White-winged Crossbills, certainly worthwhile.
Bays have begun to freeze, don't imagine lake will make it to December.

Yesterday was the last day of three days guiding a client from Maryland. The
weather yesterday was gusty with winds from the west. There was a lot of
intermediate snow showers through the day and in a nut shell it was a tough day
to find birds. We started out in Sax-Zim Bog and tried in vain

on the Mountain Bluebird at Park Point in Duluth. The bird was found yesterday
afternoon by Joe Hudick of Osceola WI, and he e-mailed me about his sighting.

Still present this morning at Park Point along road just north of Sky Harbor
Airport. An apparent first-fall female with wash of buff on breast. Need to
check references on this. Also late Swainson's Thrush near main parking lot.

Hi all—
Erika and I were greeted upon our return from an epic road trip through the
recent hurricane to see the Met Opera in New York. Back in Rice Co., we
were greeted by huge flocks of siskins and goldfinches. We banded 48
individuals and recaptured 4 goldfinches from the last three winters.

I just found a small group of Bohemian Waxwings in a crabapple tree at the
intersection of Sherwood Rd. and Oakwood Dr. in Shoreview.
