I saw a Chipping Sparrow today gleaning what it could find alongside of
Contract Interiors (120 W Plato Blvd) in St. Paul. There are some ornamental
conifers that line the building so perhaps the bird has some fidelity to that

Warren on Tuesday morning. I went out looking for it, but didn't find it.
I did however, spot a Cooper's Hawk near a farm house on 380th Ave, just
north of 170th Street. I went out again late this afternoon and found the
I spent most of today birding in Winona County with Lorraine Kilmartin
completing a CBC route. We found a lingering song sparrow and handful of
eastern bluebirds. A flock of common redpolls was exciting for us, as they
were Lorraine's first. Within the flock a single pale male caught my eye
