I spent most of today birding in Winona County with Lorraine Kilmartin completing a CBC route. We found a lingering song sparrow and handful of eastern bluebirds. A flock of common redpolls was exciting for us, as they were Lorraine's first. Within the flock a single pale male caught my eye
