[mou-net] Boreal Owl video

I thought some of you may enjoy a short clip of one of the Boreal Owls that we saw last weekend. I'd never seen so many Boreal Owls that were actively hunting during the day, and this video shows some of it. To be more accurate, I could say I had NEVER seen a Boreal actively hunting during the day!

Hi, I took advantage of the break in the snow to take a walk through Oak Hill Cemetery in south Minneapolis, where I found a small flock of 6 White-winged Crossbills (including two bright males) near the rear of the cemetery. Anyone searching for these birds might want to also check the spruces

Kim Risen just called to report an adult Black-legged Kittiwake at Burlington Bay in Two Harbors, Lake County. The bird is with a group of Ring-billed Gulls in the bay and also along the lake shore just NE of there (SW of Flood Bay). Chris Wood also reported an adult kittiwake at Burlington Bay
