Yesterday afternoon, about 4:15, I had a Great Egret drop in my field and
ponds. The resident pair of Canada Geese were none too happy though and
harassed the bird. I did not see it later in the evening or this morning. This
is only the second time I have seen one on my property.

with to see if I could snag some migrating warblers when I saw a group of birds
foraging on the ground to the right of me. Most of the flock was Tennessee
Warblers but much to my delight the was a brilliant

location.

Also present at the location of the Yellow-throated Warbler found by Jason
were a Bay-breasted Warbler and a Gray-cheeked Thrush. Both warblers spent
most of their time feeding on the sidewalks and street, along with 3 or more
Tennessees.

Park in Lake City and Frontenac State Park (Goodhue County), including 22

While scanning the Hills Water Treatment Ponds three White faced Ibises took
flight from the cattail swamp immediately north of the ponds. The flew north
over the town and did not return during the 10 minutes I was there.
