I counted 66 birds going down the chimney at the school across the street in St Paul. But they have been roosting there all spring summer for many years. These are all non-breeding birds unless the breeding pairs are heading to the Amazon already. I wouldn’t go back to the same place

Elizabeth and I counted 85 CHSW entering a chimney on a former school in St. Paul Park. Last year on the first counting weekend I think we counted less than 6. On the second count time we had a few over 400, so if you find the chimney the birds want you will see some to many. Sent from my iPad
