Since there hasn't been any recent news on mou-net about the 2 eiders in
Duluth The last I heard they were seen again on the lake out from Leif
Erikson Park around 3:00 but they could not be relocated by Al Loken between
3:30 and 5:00. He searched from 21st Ave E to Canal Park. Birders will

This afternoon a Townsend's solitaire was feeding in our crab apples near
Dorset (ca. 10 miles NE of Park Rapids).

Just received word that the eiders were relocated on the lake at the Glensheen
Mansion parking lot.

Duluth. The birds were at Brighton Beach near the Lester River, but flew toward
Duluth and have yet to be relocated.
Common Eider was last reported in Minnesota in 1966.
