Gold Crowned Sparrow still at previous location in Duluth. Missed the Northern
Hawk Owl on
Jean Duluth Road and it was to dark to see the Snowy, upon my return trip,
that has been
reported at the Crow Wing Fair Ground. I did see a few Rough Legged Hawks, a
few groups of
Redpolls, and a coup

I relocated the N Hawk Owl reported by Richard Hoeg yesterday.
At 2:20 pm today, it was just north of Kelly J's Sewing at 6140 Jean Duluth Rd,
on the east side in a pasture with scattered large spruces.

On Saturday morning I noticed a Snowy Owl about one mile north of the town of
Hanska on the west side of Co 13. I went back at 4:00 Saturday afternoon and
relocated the bird one mile west of Co 13 (170th Ave). This afternoon what I
presume to be the same bird was about one and a half miles sou

Eurasia tree sparrow previously reported, good looks at 4:10 p.m. this

I was able to spot the Snowy Owl near the LQP High School today at 2:15pm. It
is 1.5mi south of the school on Hwy40 and ~3/4mi west

Great River Energy Building this morning.

Ken and I saw the Snowy Owl again at 1 PM today (12/28) in the location
previously reported by Bob Ekblad, on Madison St. about ½ mile west of 13th
St., in front of the CTC Building. This is just west of the Crow Wing
County Fairgrounds. The owl was perched on the top of a powerline pole.

Out participating in the Hastings-Etter CBC yesterday, I discovered an Eurasian
