The MBWbirds.com website was updated earlier today, January 30, and includes
the current registration status of all MBWeekends and MBWeeks in the upcoming
2015-16 season. Although some MBWeekends are already filled, more than half
still have vacancies, and it is likely an extra Kidder County MBW

Thank for the reports. Mark Junghans and I were able to relocate one of the
Snowy Owls at the same location as Bob's sighting. The bird was sitting in
field at a distance of several hundred yards and hidden by field stubble and
grass at times. The bird was observed at 1:23 pm.

On my way home this afternoon I found a Great Gray Owl hunting along the road
north of Tamarack in eastern Aitkin County.
I drove along Aitkin CR 18 north of Palisade on Tuesday, but didn’t see any
owls. There were 2 Magpies, a Sharp-tailed Grouse, Rough-legged Hawk, Northern
Shrike and a Pheas

Craig Mandel and Mark Junghans relocated the Snowy Owl near Morgan this morning
in a field on the south side of 260th St about a half mile west of the county
line(Terrace Ave) this morning around 10.
