(Posted by Michael Oetken via moumn.org) This morning (7/10/15) I spotted an adult Common Moorhen with 4 chicks in tow in the boat access at Nicollet Bay Unit of Swan Lake (2 miles west of Nicollet on Hwy 14). They were out about 50 yards on the left side moving in and out of the reeds.
