Birding Duluth area today with Jeff Stephenson and Jim Peterson. Most
notable were 21 Golden Plovers in the Park Point ball fields this afternoon
and excellent looks at juvenile plumed Red-thoated Loon from airfield acess.

I am, apparently, the last Minnesotan to see the Clark's Nutcracker near
Winona. I see that Mr. Hoekstra saw it on the 4th. Has it been seen since
then?

the woods behind the lighthouse at Lighthouse Point in Two Harbors.
They also saw two Surf Scoters at the Flood Bay wayside rest east of
town.

Eared Grebe, Initially found by Herb Dingmann this afternoon. It was still
present
as of 3:30pm close to shore off of the brick shelter about halfway down.
