For the past 39 years that I have been in charge of the Minnesota DNR Nongame
Wildlife Program, I have worked to reduce/eliminate the use of lead as a
component of shotgun shells for waterfowl and upland hunting, for use in
fishing tackle, and more recently for use of lead in deer hunt

I tried posting this earlier but for some reason it didn't go through. Anyway,
there's a somewhat out of range Tufted Titmouse visiting the feeders at the
home of Floyd & Carol Alwin in New Ulm. I saw it this morning off and on
between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. Floyd said that he first noticed
I will presenting two outdoor photography / birding seminars in the Minneapolis
/ St. Paul
area during the next seven days. The title of each seminar is: Outdoor
Photography on a
Budget. Both events are free, open to the public, and do not require any
advance
registration!

These birds still were directly behind Denny's Resort on Lake Winnibigosh near
shore diving
with a flock of Buffleheads on Tuesday afternoon at Bena in Cass County.
