While up birding on Friday and leading an MBW group on Saturday we had the good
fortune to see the following species.
While we missed the Ivory Gull by about 15 minutes on Friday, we were able to
see one of the Black-legged Kittiwakes this afternoon.

At least one of the Kitties was seen by 20-ish people around 4PM. The said bird
was visible
from canal park with the naked eye at times, but kept out of good photo
distance, although
there was some great pictures taken. It was seen patrolling back and

We easily observed the dark immature gyrfalcon perched on the northwestern
tower balcony of the Peavey grain elevator by Connor's point in Superior,
WI at noon today.

The Duluth Ivory Gull has not yet been seen this morning.
