Denny and Barb Martin relocated the GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW and
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW on March 5th at 44th Avenue East and Regent
Street in the Lakeside neighborhood of Duluth. Birders are welcome
to look for the bird but the homeowner asks observers to stay on the
sidewalk and not venture into

My friend Russ and i spent the morning and part of the afternoon at the Island
View Park near Clear Lake location in Sherburne County looking for the Mountain
Bluebird reported earlier. We met several birders when we first arrived that
gave us tips on where to look and then we met one man w
I just spent an enjoyable afternoon at the Rapids Lake unit of the MRVNWR in
Carver county. Along with the usual suspects the highlight of the afternoon was
a Northern Harrier that I spotted on the gravel road between the open fields. I
watched it until it flew across the field to the northeast.

The Mountain Bluebird just made a brief appearance with 3 Eastern Bluebirds. I
sat patiently at the picnic table and they came from trees to the south and
flew off to the trees to the north.
