The Chat was there at 11:00 and so was a Catbird, Brown Thrasher, Rose Breasted
Grosbeak, Oriole, and an Eastern Towhee. Along with the terrain and all these
similar
sounds like a Chat, or may I say the sounds the Chat could mimic, it proved
challenging
The Chat was present this morning (7am) at the previously described Afton
State Park spot - singing loudly and showing himself clearly.
Also saw a Black-billed Cuckoo in the trees near the 50th St entrance and
never heard so many Henslow's Sparrows in this field before.
