This dark morph hawk was seen today at Carver Park Reserve on a hill on Grimm
Road. Excellent views.

An immature Sabines Gull is currently present at the Waterville Fish
Hatchery ponds west of Waterville. Third pond west of entrance road. I
would guess this is the same bird previously roported from Rice County.

I'm a little unclear as to who initially spotted it but a Sabine's Gull was
found and reported on ebird yesterday. It is still present in Warsaw (Rice
County) flying back and forth over the channel bridge (Farwell Ave).
Additionally, there is a group of 10 Avocets in amongst the gulls on the
lake
