Since there has been nothing posted on this listserv since 9:30 this morning
about the thrasher found by Clinton Nienhaus and others at Park Point in
Duluth, here's an update.
It continued to be seen all day along the hiking path/road beyond the Sky

157 species were recorded with notable birds such as: American Three-toed
Woodpecker,
Black-backed Woodpecker, Boreal Chickadee, Great Gray Owl, Caspian Tern,
Red-headed
Woodpecker. Le Conte Sparrow, 20 warbler species, 17 shorebird (Ruddy
Turnstone, Bl
Less expected than yesterday’s Snowy Egret in Stearns Co. – but WAY more
expected than today’s Sage Thrasher in St. Louis Co. – was a Snowy Owl in
Stearns Co. this morning, perched on a fencepost along westbound I-94 between
MN 15 and the next overpass to the west (labeled on Google Maps as 260t

Black bellied plover seen 1 mile east of grand Marais on 5/28 on shore of Lake
Superior. I saw on ebird same bird seen in Duluth the day before.
