I believe I had a Western Meadowlark at Taconite Harbor on 10/29. (Sorry, for
the late post. Just had a chance to look at my pictures). The photos are on

Yesterday afternoon as I was driving on Hwy 100 in Edina near the Minnehaha
Creek I observed a Pigeon flying among the cars. I thought that that was
strange, but as it dashed over the sound walls, I realized it had a Coopers
Hawk right on its tail. I do not know the outcome of the chase.

This morning a juvenile Golden Eagle was circling near a deer roadkill site
along Hwy 7, about a half mile south of CR 51. This was an all-dark eagle with
a distinct white tail band at the base and white patches near the "wrist" areas
