Kim Risen and I birded Hillside Road in Reno, Houston county yesterday evening
and this morning. Among a nice influx of migrants we found Carolina wrens,
yellow-throated warbler and Kentucky warbler. In addition we also had excellent
looks at orchard orioles, cerulean warblers, and a vocal tufte
So far today, no one has submitted eBird checklists for Painted Bunting.
I haven’t been keeping close tabs on Facebook so far today, but I recommend
that folks who are interested in Painted Bunting updates should check the
Minnesota eBird Rare Bird Alert throughout the day:
