I went to Crosby this morning - no bittern but I did see a Palm Warbler and a
Waterthrush by the junction at the west end of the pond, where everything is
flooded. I had not determined Waterthrush species before two unleashed dogs
came running down the trail, running through the waster and flus
I agree - have used this book in Ireland, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy,
Spain, Switzerland, and Sweden and it has always served me well.Cyndi

Mallards, but I was running
and had no binocs. =
When I turned onto Milton to head home, I heard a pair of Brown
Creepers. One was at about eye level due to Milton being on a hill. =
No binocs needed there.
