Great Spring sound this morning. My first Sandhill cranes of the year.

I have had a steady amount of Pine Siskens and Goldfinches this winter but
this morning I had my first small flock of Redpolls of the season at my
thistle feeders. Columbus Mn. / Anoka County

Cattle Egret (1:30pm)
Corner of Cty 18 and Furman. Approximately 3 miles west of Forest Lake
in South Side ditch. Not what I was expecting in the snow today. I was
able to take several photos.

A large flock of Sandhill Cranes came into the Carlos Avery area this
morning. Not note worthy exept that between the warm weather and that
sound of the cranes it really felt like spring. They are always to see
and hear!!

Single bird flying over the 35w overpass. First for me this year
respectful. I would estimate that over 150 people have
seen the owl.

From 35E or from North of Forest Lake:
Exit at Forest lake exit and go west onĀ County rd 18 (Broadway) for
(about 4 miles).
Go left on Potoamac (Cty rd 19) for about (1.3 miles)
Go right on 164th Lane (
