I have had a steady group of Common Redpolls visiting the feeder in my front
yard in Hastings since December- about 15-20. Also about a dozen Pine Siskins.
All are still present. I've never had this many previously.

This morning there was approx. 200 cormorants at Lake Rebecca in Hastings- I
Have never seen so many before on that small lake swimming and fishing. There
was also several hundred am. White pelicans and various other lesser scaups and
n. Shovelers. Tonight- I saw the large flock of cormorants hea
Just FYI- group of common mergansers has been on Hastings' Lake Rebecca all
winter- along with a Common Goldeneye and occasional Trumpeter Swans - also
because of aeration

Broad winged hawks! Eurasian collared dove pair is still in my neighborhood- at
my feeder- brown headed cowbird- juncos , cardinals, lots of grackles and red
Late Harris's Sparrow confirmed both visually and audibly singing - at Afton
State Park this morning 10 a.m. Was in the prairie walk about a 3/4 -1 mile up
from the main bathroom/interpretive center near the main parking areas.
