After looking unsuccessfully for Snowy Owls in the areas between 170th and
190th streets in Dakota County I spotted one about 1 mile north of Hampton on
highway 52 on top of a tall double power pole on my way home about 4 PM. Also
observed long-tailed Duck and Black Duck at point Douglas. Jim
