A flock of pelicans, estimated to be 50 - 60 birds, just flew over Afton
heading north towards the St Croix River and Hudson, WI

I saw my first Mockingbird in Afton after growing up with them in NJ. Bird was
observed at 700pm on 42nd street and Paradox Court

On the river trail going north from the picnic area I came upon a pair
of Chestnut sided warblers that would forage on the ground two feet
from me this afternoon.

First sighting of Bluebirds and Killdeer in my pasture for the season
Saw the Harlequin today fishing near the marina docks south of the RR
bridge around 200pm.
Driving back to Afton on Neal Ave south of 70th we saw a solitary pair
of trumpeters swans feeding on the corn 70 feet from the road on the
west side. Spent a bit of time in the car trying to
great Blue heron in Eagan today in pond, seems like an early sighting.
