Ceruleans were seen and heard at Cannon River Wilderness
on Sunday afternoon, 6/1, 4-5PM.

We heard three Ceruleans and saw one as it was singing.

My husband and I found not one but TWO Townsend's Solitaires at noon today in
the area described by Bob Ekblad - south and east of Oronoco, MN. We spotted
one as soon as we arrived and soon realized that there was more than one. At
one point, both birds were sitting in the same tree together,

Saw 39 species with these highlights:
numerous DARK-EYED JUNCOS, AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS, both WHITE- and RED-
BREASTED NUTHATCHES, RED-TAILED HAWKS, and BALD EAGLES along route

On this beautiful Saturday, my friends and I birded at the sod farms near North
Branch in Chisago County. We found both of my target birds - American Pipits
(about 50) and Lapland Longspur (one for sure, which we saw close up) - plus
many Horned Larks, 4 Ring-necked Pheasants, a Red-shouldered
