Dear Mark,
Thanks for your very helpful message. Here is information from my sighting
at MSP on December 27 from 2:00-3:30 pm. Conditions were heavily overcast
and very dreary, light wind, very slight mist.
I spotted a large Snowy from the FedEx lot. It was perched atop a huge

What will be the impact on these few birds of hoards of eager birdwatchers
invading its habitat?!?!? It's best hope may be for all of us to leave it
alone and instead work to protect its remaining habitat from curious
humans.

GGOs seem to be on the move in Pine County. The numbers of GGOs in the
Cloverdale-Markville-Duxbury area has dropped significantly. We are now
seeing only 3-4 a day, down from 30+ per day, and some days we now see none

Greetings all,
Today we ran a similar route to Sunday (when we saw at least 33 GGOs). We

Greetings Tim,
I saw a pair at our cabin in Pine County (Ogema Township) this weekend.
This location is 100 miles north of St. Paul, and about 30 miles north of
Crex Meadows. Not very near your part of Minnesota, but we\'re happy to
see them anyways.

On Sunday I saw a small flock of about thirty White Pelicans just to the
south of Forest Lake. One had a fish cross-ways in its bill. They were
flying low, right up and over I 35, toward the lake on the opposite side of
the road. There is also an active Bald Eagle nest just east of I-35 a mile
