The Black Backed Woodpecker origionally found by Milt Blomberg in the St
Wendel SNA is still present. There was one female in the North end of the
area with all the bark chips near the cattails. She only called once and I was
able to watch her for only little while. Otherwise it was cold and
Hello, Today I saw a white hawk flying with a Red Tailed Hawk. It was the
same size and shape but all white, at first glance I thought it was a gull.
It was circling near the corner of 88th ave and 220th St St Cloud, this is
a few miles west of Luxemberg. There were also palm warblers at Wilson
Wednesday April 9th at 7:30 I saw Say's Phoebe in Sauk Rapids. It was
under and directly N of the new Mississippi river bridge in Sauk Rapids.
There is a thin strip of shrubs and trees between the road and river, this
is where the bird was seen. Other birds in the area were Golden Crowned and
