Just after 5:30 PM Tuesday 10-9-07 a Tufted Titmouse made a brief visit to
our backyard feeder in Ramsey. We watched for nearly an hour and the bird did
not return. This was a new county and yard bird.

Yesterday ( Sunday 2-11-07 ) we found 3 Spruce Grouse on Highway 1 approx.
0.7 mile east of the Spruce Road at 9:45 AM

At 3:03PM this Friday afternoon, I met Forest and Kirstin Strnard at
the Spotted Towhee spot in Austin. We were all able to see the bird in
the lilac bushes east of the house. Also at the feeders were junco's,
chickadees and cardinals.

At 5:30 PM Saturday I was able to locate the Great Gray Owl previously posted
at the stone bridge in West Medicine Lake Park. The bird was in a tree south

for three days returned to my yard this Sunday afternoon at 12:30 and 1:30. It
stayed about ten minutes each visit. It seems rather skittish and will flush
