At 4:30 this afternoon (Monday) the Gyrfalcon was eyeing Canada Geese
from the utility pole at the highest point of County highway 42, just
east of the entrance to Schaar's Bluff.

I saw the Gyrfalcon this morning about 10:30. It wasn't along Hwy 55 so I
drove along CR 42 and turned north on Idell Ave.
The Gyrfalcon is still present near Hastings. I saw it fly across Hwy 55,
mile marker 217, heading north at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Friday, April

at 7:00 am this morning, the Gyrfalcon was perched on the ground on the
south side of highway 55 near mile marker 216, located in the cut corn
field (corn stubble?) about 40 feet off the road.

At 4:25pm and again at 5:05pm tonight, I saw the Gyr terrorizing mallards
