Recent travels around Dakota County show that the fields have dried out and no longer are inviting habitat for shorebirds. The sod fields (Castle Rock, Empire area) are also dry. Many of the marshes are swollen and the shoreline is in the vegetation Other shorebird sites: Lake Bylessby (Friday)
