Yesterday (March 4), Jim Otto and I observed a female Three-Toed
Woodpecker on Koochiching County Highway 13, 1.3 miles south of CR 77,
or 10.8 miles north of Hwy 71.
The Great Gray Owl on CR 30, 6 miles west of Big Falls, was actively
hunting the ditches at 4:30 pm.
