Yesterday (May 5) Lars Benson found a Louisiana Waterthrush at Wood
Lake in Richfield. It was working the rocks on a little stream near
the far southeastern corner of the reserve.

Today (May 6) a flock of ten Red Crossbills were in my yard in Duluth
for a few seconds before flying south.

PS The waterthrush had a bright white supercilium that widened aft of
the eye, the legs were bright pink, and the flanks were buffy, in
contrast to the whitish belly.
