I am so lucky. The Tufted Titmouse that came very briefly on Thursday, came
back yesterday and spent hours gathering safflower seeds, and has been back
again intermittently today. Maybe it felt that it had gathered enough
yesterday so that it could take it a bit easier today. I just don't

I don't have access to any records, but back in the late 70s and early
80s we regularly saw the Tufted Titmouse at
About 12:15 today, a Tufted Titmouse twice visited our feeder which
is just out-side the kitchen window.
The last we saw the Carolina Wrens was just after 8 AM Friday. One
started singing and I was able to whistle them both in to the burr oak.

I was at the Mt. Olivet Retreat Center in Dakota
County for a few hours both Saturday and Sunday. The
Tufted Titmouse reported in December is still
frequenting the feeders. I saw and photographed it at
the large hopper feeder by the front entrance both
days.
