On my way to the airport in Orlando Florida, riding on a Disney bus, as I 
looked to watch a snowy egret take off from a pond on Martin Anderson Expy Hwy 
# 528, I saw sandhill cranes with babies grazing along the side near the 
Expressway. 
I always think of sandhill cranes as secretive avoiding places like the side of 
an very busy expressway. It is good to see the presence of sandhills becoming 
more common; but I'm not sure I enjoy seeing them becoming so adaptive to city 
living. Could you ever imagine having to worry about hitting one?
